Kometa | Collaboration with C.E.A. Alps Design Lab in Grenoble, Group work with Aglaé Poisson
C.E.A.’s research laboratory developed a power battery in thread shape. The goal of this project was to appropriate this technology and to explore a field of application. The filariaes battery are flexible, light and fine. We decided to work on the idea to deport the view through a « mechanical return back » object.
The kite seemed to be a good object to integrate an optical sensor because he is relatively stable, supple and light : the ideal properties for filariaes battery.
The battery skip into both carbon tubes which structure the kite, they reload thanks to photovoltaic cells fixed to the fabric. The processor and the optics are integrated in shells placed in both extremities of the kite to collect the pictures.
